Dr. Alexys J. Hillman
Dr. Alexys J. Hillman is a board-certified osteopathic physician (DO). She was born in Philadelphia, attending St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls and earning a full tuition scholarship to Temple University. There, she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology, as well as earning her US Army commission as a Second Lieutenant through the Army ROTC Program. She graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from this program.

From there, she pursued her medical studies at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, CA. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Fort Benning, GA, and served in Korea as a staff physician in Seoul. Throughout her time in the military, Dr Hillman was able to achieve pain and symptom relief through the regular use of osteopathic manipulation (OMT), and frequently received new patients for treatment through word of mouth. She contributed a chapter to the latest edition of "Taylor's Family Medicine," and published a self-guided book for chronic pain.

Outside of medicine, her interests include reading, sewing/crocheting/crafts, volunteering with the SightLines Program through WUWF 88.1FM in Pensacola and the American Red Cross, generally geeking out, and taking care of her family. Dr Hillman is heavily invested in the Pensacola Community, having sponsored two separate hurricane supply giveaway events, participating in local politics, and is in the process of creating a new community initiative (TBA). She is also doing research for her next book. She knows in her heart that Star Trek is better than Star Wars, asserts the Tenth Doctor is her doctor, Weeping Angels are her favorite villain and Sailor Mercury is the best Sailor Scout.
