Dr. David Hopper
Dr. David Hopper is a practicing chiropractic physician in the suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Hopper grew up in a family focused on health & wellness, exercising and healthy eating was not an option, it was a way of life. Dr. Hopper is very thankful for his upbringing as it has helped shape his beliefs and practices today.
Dr. Hopper's has his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. He began his master's in exercise physiology before deciding to "go for it" and get his doctorate in chiropractic. During his time getting his doctorate Dr. Hopper was a research assistant, focusing on conservative treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. He also completed all of his coursework for the diplomate in rehabilitation.
Dr. Hopper is an accomplished athlete as well, he grew up playing high level ice hockey and doing various martial arts. At age 20 he had the opportunity to take on his first professional fight in a mixed martial arts (MMA) arena. Dr. Hopper went on to fight professionally for the next 4 years before retiring to attend grad school for his doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Hopper also has his name on two United States Patents (pending). His first invention was at the age of 20, early on in his professional fighting career he developed a more efficient way for fighters to increase punching speed and power. This invention would find its true home in the group fitness industry and is still used in gyms across the country. Dr. Hopper's second patent, still pending, is an ergonomic design on the operating chair for dentists/surgeons/hygenists/etc. This product is still finalizing prototypes and will hopefully be released to market boy summer of 2019.
