Dr. Sean P. Heffernan, M.D. is a psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of people with mood disorders and chronic medical illnesses. He attended Johns Hopkins University and Tulane University School of Medicine before completing his psychiatry training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Heffernan has also completed two fellowships for specialty training in psychosomatic medicine and treatment-refractory mood disorders, at Massachusetts General Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital, respectively.
